Project questions
What clients usually want to know.
Select a question to view the answer. If your project has different requirements, contact us for advice tailored to your business.
01 How long will the project take?
Project timelines depend on the size, features, integrations and content requirements. A professional business website typically takes 4–8 weeks, while ecommerce platforms, online ordering systems and mobile apps may take 8–16 weeks or longer. We provide a clear delivery schedule before work begins.
02 Who owns the website and source code?
Once the project is completed and all agreed payments have been made, you own the custom website, content and source code developed specifically for your project. Any third-party software, fonts, plugins or platforms remain subject to their respective licence terms.
03 Can you manage hosting and domains?
Yes. We can help register, configure or transfer your domain, set up professional email and arrange reliable hosting. Wherever possible, these services remain registered in your name so you retain ownership and control.
04 Can you integrate Stripe?
Yes. We can integrate Stripe for secure online payments, including one-time purchases, deposits, subscriptions and online ordering. Stripe is first configured and tested in Test Mode before live payments are enabled through your own Stripe account.
05 Can you maintain an existing website?
In most cases, yes. We first review the website’s technology, hosting, security, access and current condition. We can then recommend ongoing maintenance, repairs, performance improvements or a redesign where that would provide better value.
06 Do you build for both iOS and Android?
Yes. We build mobile applications for both Apple iOS and Android. Where appropriate, we use cross-platform technology to create a consistent experience across both platforms while reducing duplicated development and maintenance costs.
07 What happens after launch?
After launch, we verify that the website or application is operating correctly and provide the agreed handover, documentation and training. Ongoing support plans are available for monitoring, backups, security updates, content changes, performance improvements and future enhancements.
08 Can the platform support multiple locations?
Yes. We can build multi-location functionality with separate opening hours, contact details, menus, products, pricing, availability and order-routing rules. Customer enquiries or orders can automatically be sent to the correct location.
09 What information is needed to start?
We generally need an overview of your business, project goals, target customers, required features, preferred timeframe and approximate budget. Existing branding, website access, written content, images and examples you like are also helpful. If some materials are unavailable, we can help identify and prepare what is needed.
